Here’s a first look at the new look OneNote 2010.
First a look at the whole screen – click to see a full size image:
OneNote 2010 - full screen Home tab
OneNote get the ribbon interface. Note that the default ribbon view for OneNote 2010 is minimized with only the tabs showing. This increases the amount of working screen space. Starting the ribbon minimized makes it clear to users that they don’t need to have the ribbon appearing all the time, just double-click on a tab to toggle the ribbon view.
The ribbon will disappear in Office 2007 as well - see Make the Office 2007 ribbon go away.
The Office button and Quick Access Toolbar are on the top left, just like other ribbon enabled programs.
It’s great to see that OneNote 2010 will have styles!
