It had to happen I suppose, Websense are reporting that there’s a new phishing scam running around targeting Gmail users (Google’s email service).

The email poses as a $500 prize as part of the fictitious ‘Gmail Games’.   As usual the message and site all looks very plausible; copying the look of Google web pages.  The site has now been closed but similar scams will probably appear over time.

You’d hope most people would be suspicious of an unexpected ‘offer’ to give you money for no reason, but these types of scams still work.
