Now we can all rest easy <g>. Mind you, the name 'Office 12' won't be totally forgotten. Office 2003 users may have noticed the code name 'Office 11' appear (for example in the /Program Files/Microsoft Office/ Office11 folder ). Most likely "Office 12" will similarly linger on.
