Utilities to save and restore the Windows desktop icon positions.

Home

I find I store (temporarily) more and more links on my desktop - my memory jogger. And what a bugger it is if something glitches and the entire desktop full of icons relocates automatically to fill the left of the screen!

The solution - a small utility to save the desktop icon positions.

I've found two that work well:

Desktop Icon Save and Restore probably the easiest to use as it's a right click anywhere on the desktop to access.

Icon Restore requires a right click on the My Computer (or any System) icon.

They are now part of my standard desk load stuff.
