Volumouse is a free utility with good configuration options. The mouse wheel becomes a volume control when you press the Alt key, when the left mouse button is held down or the mouse pointer is hovering over the taskbar -- you get to choose. All you need is a wheel mouse and Windows 98 or above. There are multiple language files available for global support. Give it a try ... its easier and faster than clicking on the volume controls in Windows.
